Saioa (Nafarroa) – 19 February 2013

It’s getting boring but there’s nowhere else to go around here when you have limited time. It’s only 1h drive from home and that’s it… you are skinning up the hill. Besides the road is clean and there’s plenty of snow on some faces (except for W faces). Yesterday the visibility was very low so I chickened out once at Artesiaga and walked the dog instead but today, in spite of a very strong and persistent SE wind, I went for it. I got rewarded with some nice corn skiing at the top …and horrid, humid and heavy cement at the bottom part. I guess I’ll be going there again tomorrow and the day after and…
