Mountain biking – 25 September 2012

Today I took a break at lunch time and went for a lap of my 19km circuit. We’ve had very strong winds today and yesterday, and I could see branches all over the place. Including a big tree fallen across a concrete section of the circuit. And once again I fell over and got a nasty bruise on my shin. This time it was entirely my fault… and also the fault of the rock that decided to sprout just in front of my front wheel at the last second!! Oh well… anyway I need to fix my brakes again. The forecast is for rain for the next 2 or 3 days so the timing to have the bike serviced is spot on. With today’s ride I’ve cycled 329kms in the first month of the challenge (I started on August 25). Way above the 200km/month target so far. Good!
